Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Patient Care Associate to support clinical care in the MSH KCC 5N Med/Tele unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, draw blood samples, and help with procedures under RN supervision.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, a High School Diploma or equivalent and certification in medical assisting or patient care assistance. BLS/Heartsaver certification is preferred; evening shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or completion of a medical assistant/patient care assistant program with venipuncture and EKG skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility for patients.
• Take and record vital signs; document intake/output and other data.
• Support RN with procedures and patient care activities.
• Transport patients and deliver meals/trays; maintain clean, safe environment.
• Update logs, assemble medical records, and help with discharge processes.
