The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a BLS certification within 6 months of hire; related PCA/PCT training or nursing program enrollment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma or enrollment in nursing school is acceptable with related coursework or experience.
• Evidence of Nursing Assistant training or CMA/home health aide experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic care to acutely ill patients and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Perform EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.
