Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Access Rep III at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville. This per diem role offers 10–20 hours weekly with shifts typically 4:00 PM–11:00 PM; some 12:00 PM–6:00 PM shifts may occur, with no weekend work but some holidays required.

You will assist patients with financial entry into treatment, verify insurance, and prepare admission paperwork. Responsibilities include collaboration with clinicians, patient registration, and intake/admission support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of crisis/emergency services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM IV-R and patient rights laws pertaining to mental health.
• Substantial knowledge base of insurance plans such as Commercial, Managed Care and capitated plans, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a licensed clinician to facilitate acceptance of transfers and completes admission paperwork.
• Performs patient registration functions and supports patient accounting tasks as needed.
• Assists Intake Admission Team with related duties and ensures timely admissions and transfers.
