Trinity Health is seeking a part-time patient registration specialist for evening shifts in Michigan. The role involves outpatient and inpatient registration, insurance verification, and collecting patient payments. Must have strong communication, data entry, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Accurate data entry and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused customer service.
• Register patients and verify insurance for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and verify eligibility including Medicare pre-certifications and referrals.
• Provide information to hospital users, patients, families and physician offices.
