Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking an Admissions Specialist – Patient Access Services – ER to join our care team at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth. You will verify demographics, review benefits, and prepare cost estimates, assisting patients with their financial responsibilities.

You'll work evenings on weekends in a fast-paced hospital environment, using Epic and MS Office to manage patient records, insurance pre-certifications, and policy education while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent; CHAA cert preferred.
• Ability to promptly assess requests using electronic and paper resources and respond to patient inquiries.
• Excellent data entry, typing, and computer navigation with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families to set a calm, supportive tone.
• Collect and verify demographics for electronic health records.
• Identify benefits and pre-certifications to maximize reimbursement.
• Explain consent forms and regulatory documents to patients/families.
• Educate on financial obligations and collect co-pays and balances.
• Maintain Epic work queue and monitor patient accounts for accuracy.
