Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Child Behavioral Health Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, ME. This part-time evening role requires an RN with at least 1 year of experience and current licensure, with a sign-on incentive for eligible experienced nurses.

The unit serves children aged roughly 4–12 with acute mental health needs. The RN will participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license required; BLS certification required or obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Support pediatric behavioral health patients in a 12-bed unit with a multidisciplinary team.
