Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring a part-time Prep Cook for the Primeclass Lounge at JFK International Airport in Jamaica, NY 11430. The role runs 3:00 pm to 12:30 am with an immediate start and prior cooking/food service experience preferred.

Training is available, with meals, uniforms and laundering service at select locations. Responsibilities include following recipes and production sheets, maintaining HACCP compliance, and serving customers at multiple stations while ensuring quality and

Qualifications

• Previous cooking and food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations.
