Job summary

The Osborne Association is seeking a part-time Peer Navigator to support individuals at the 44th Police Precinct in the Bronx, following DAT paperwork. You will provide immediate assistance, crisis intervention, and resource linking to promote stability and steer people away from the criminal justice system.

Qualifications

• Experience providing peer support or working in harm reduction, mental health, or social services.
• Knowledge of naloxone administration and overdose prevention techniques.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals charged with DAT-eligible offenses inside the precinct after receipt of DAT paperwork.
• Engage individuals to offer services and build trust.
• Provide empathetic, non-judgmental support and conduct needs assessments.
