Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery department. The role is part-time with evening shifts, and hours vary by surgical schedule.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse with current state licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications up to date.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred.
• Moderate sedation competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Out Patient Services.
• Communicate with physicians, director and peers about patient status.
• Coordinate care with surgeon/anesthesiologist and other staff.
• Maintain standards of care and participate in performance improvement.
