BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is hiring a part-time Customer Service Advocate II to handle routine inquiries about claims or appeals from Florence, SC. The role is 20 hours per week, 4:00pm–8:00pm, on-site with training five weeks 8am–4:30pm.

You will identify incorrectly processed claims, perform adjustments, and assist customers with confidential information while meeting timeliness and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of customer service or 1 year claims/appeals processing plus 1 year customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; good spelling and grammar.

Responsabilités

• Respond to routine telephone and written inquiries about claims or appeals.
• Identify and correct incorrectly processed claims; perform adjustments and reprocessing actions.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and meet timeliness/quality standards.
