HonorHealth is seeking a Paramedic Technician for the Emergency Department in Phoenix. The role works evenings and operates under the direction of physicians, RNs, and PAs to provide comprehensive patient care across age groups.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, vital signs monitoring, and procedures such as IV initiation and phlebotomy, with duties expanding to medication administration under supervision and accurate medical record documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of EMT-P training course; 1 year EMS experience preferred.
• Current Arizona Paramedic Certification and BLS/ACLS/PALS required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under licensed caregiver supervision.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output, ambulation.
• Initiate peripheral IV, phlebotomy, eye irrigation, urinary catheterization.
• Administer medications under supervision.
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover.
• Document care and reinforce patient education.
• Address questions from patients and families.
