Job summary

Essity’s Paper Converting operation in Bordentown, NJ is hiring a Paper Converting Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will operate a production line, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with teams to meet daily production plans.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates with basic math, strong work ethic, and good teamwork. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional climbing; starting pay is $21–$24 per hour with benefits and quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
• Basic Mathematics, reading and writing.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility in work assignments.
• Ability to check quality of the products.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line for Hygiene products following fixed specifications and SOPs.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Perform mechanical adjustments on the machine.
• Produce the required amount of product within specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished products with precision tools and maintain quality records.
• Coordinate with production teams to meet daily production plan.
• Lead changeovers and drive workflow improvements.
