Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Packing Manufacturing Technician to support safety, quality, and production excellence on our fast-paced lines. You will work with supervisors, team leads, and operators to remove obstacles and keep lines running smoothly.

This role requires 2–4 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a 2-2-3 shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am with a $28.93/hour pay and weekly pay. Lean, 5S, safety awareness, and good communication are valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or high-speed production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and overtime as business needs require.
• Regular, reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Support supervisors and operators by removing obstacles and improving workflow.
• Monitor lines for safety, quality, and production targets.
• Perform root cause analysis and assist with troubleshooting.
• Participate in safety investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety compliance including LOTO, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections, quality walks, audits, and investigations.
• Monitor hourly production performance and escalate issues.
• Support planning by maximizing equipment efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Track labor efficiency, scrap, and material usage.
• Execute Autonomous Maintenance and Process Confirmation programs.
• Drive Lean and 5S continuous improvement.
• Assist with employee training and onboarding in production.
• Participate in equipment installs, process improvements, and projects.
