Job summary

HP Hood LLC. is seeking an Operator I to safely and efficiently assist in packaging quality products in a manner consistent with HP Hood LLC standards.

The Operator I will be proficient/qualified as a Filler Operator and/or Line Leader. Responsibilities include operating and cleaning filling and packaging equipment, starting and stopping machines, sanitation, maintaining logs and paperwork, and complying with GMP and SOP policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean filling and packaging equipment.
• Daily operation of multiple high-speed filling and packaging machines, including startup, shutdown, and sanitation per SOP.
• Work in a safe manner in compliance with GMP, SOP, and policies.
• Submit work orders and maintain equipment.
• Consistently meet production efficiencies and targets.
• Keep accurate logs, paperwork and charts.
• Complete paperwork per government regulations and HP Hood requirements.
• Safely operate all assigned equipment following policies and procedures.
• Maintain communication with team members and cross-functional partners.
• Comply with plant safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure general plant cleanliness and readiness for inspection.
• Assist in training new or existing operators in qualification process.
• All other assignments by supervision.
