Hearst Midwest Media is hiring a Part Time Packaging Assistant for the Evening shift (Sun–Fri, 5 PM–1 AM). The role involves feeding pre-prints into an inserting machine, inject mailing, and postal distribution.

The team prints multiple dailies and weeklies and seeks someone with high standards in quality and leadership. The position requires manual handling, machine setup assistance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced printing environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in several different departments doing various duties.
• Self-motivated and self-starter.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of work areas and printing plant facilities.
• Assist in machine setup and mailing preparation processes.
• Load preprints into the inserting machine and manage bundles.
• Catching bundles off the packaging end and strapping bundles.
