Lee Enterprises is seeking a dependable part-time packaging inserter for the Rapid City Journal, with schedules Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00 PM–6:00 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM–Noon.

Duties include operating inserting machine, feeding pre-prints, verifying counts, labeling bundles, shipping, and light janitorial duties; must be 18+, maintain good attendance, and work rotating evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attendance record.
• Ability to work rotating evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate inserting machine.
• Feed pre-prints into insert machine hoppers.
• Verify counts of papers.
• Label and top bundles.
• Bundle and ship papers and pre-prints.
• Operate hydraulic pallet jack and powered strapping equipment.
• Keep work area clean; perform janitorial duties as needed.
