Job summary

FedEx is seeking a warehouse package handler to load and unload packages, operate mechanized ramp equipment, and perform shuttle duties using a non-articulated vehicle at our Jacksonville-area facility. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, and work in all weather conditions.

Shifts run from 4pm to 9pm. Candidates should read and speak English sufficiently to handle traffic signs and communicate with officials, and be prepared

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend to squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages.
• Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
