Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a shuttle driver in New Jersey to load and unload aircraft and ground vehicles, and to sort packages. This role requires basic training completion, physical capability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Afternoon shift, 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be at least 21, possess a high school diploma or GED, and read/speak English sufficiently for safety communication.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools as needed.
• Must communicate clearly in time-sensitive, noisy environments.
• FMCSA qualifications must be met as stated in regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read/speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle and loads/unloads aircraft or vehicles.
• Sorts packages and performs related duties as assigned.
• pm/pt shift; 1600–2130.
