Job summary

FedEx Logistics in East Brunswick, NJ seeks a warehouse handler to perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle, load and unload aircraft and ground vehicles, and sort packages.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining timely communication in noisy environments. Must be 21+, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and completing required training.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 am to 11:00 am.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Ability to work with power and hand tools.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
