Actalent, located in Burr Ridge, IL, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a Long-Term Care Pharmacy on the Evening/Overnight shift. The role focuses on safe dispensing, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the pharmacy team.

You will support 2:00 pm and 2:00 am release times, supervise production staff, and ensure accurate, timely orders while adhering to HIPAA and DEA policies in a high-volume LTC setting. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers onsite roles and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• The Staff Pharmacist ensures safe, accurate, and timely dispensing for long-term care facilities.
• Collaborates with pharmacists and technicians to meet stringent LTC delivery timelines.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA, DEA policies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day pharmacy operations to meet workflow and deadlines, including 2:00 pm and 2:00 am medication release goals.
• Process, verify, and dispense routine and emergency orders for various distribution systems.
• Supervise staff, ensure accurate order entry, and maintain security of the pharmacy area.
• Check labeling, inventory, and compliance for controlled substances and hazardous waste policies.
• Provide evening and weekend coverage as required, including holidays, per schedule.
