Job summary

Pacific Palms Resort is seeking a Security Officer responsible for protecting assets, maintaining a safe environment, and enforcing associate compliance with company policies. The role includes patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with Security leadership to resolve investigations.

The position offers afternoon and overnight shifts with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Applicants should have security experience and CPR/First Aid training; a guard card is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year prior security experience preferred.
• CPR & First aid training required. Guard card a plus.
• Basic report writing and descriptive writing skills. Must understand Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report per BSIS licensing guidelines and State of California Business and Professions Code.
• Communicate with the Security Supervisor and Director of Security on investigations and security within the Resort.
• Patrol property to ensure safety of guests and employees and protect hotel assets.
• Document crimes, property damage, and personal injury in DARs and incidents with data and photos when necessary.
• Conduct routine patrols and check physical security to deter theft or fraudulent activity.
• Represent the Resort professionally in court-related procedures and cooperate with management.
