Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Billings is seeking a Safety & Loss Prevention team member to protect guests and property in Billings, MT. This role includes evening and overnight shifts (5:00PM–12:30AM and 12:00AM–7:30AM) and requires alertness, strong communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities include preventing incidents, coordinating with supervision, performing duties with urgency, and following hotel safety policies. Prior experience in security is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Prior experience in civilian or military law enforcement, hotel security or industrial security a plus
• Excellent hearing required to communicate with guests, employees, managers, use radio.
• Excellent vision required for emergencies, visual safety inspections.
• Excellent speech communication skills required to communicate with guests, employees, managers, use radio
• Excellent comprehension and literacy required to complete reports, logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and protection of guests, team members and Hotel Property.
• Maintain familiarity of all hotel disaster and emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and perform first aid and CPR as needed.
• Assures the cleanliness and orderly condition of the public areas of the hotel by conducting inspections.
• Maintain safe working conditions within the department and hotel.
• Other duties as assigned.
