Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring part-time and full-time Medication Technicians (CMTs) for evening and overnight shifts in Maryland. The role focuses on providing quality medical care to stabilize clients and support treatment engagement.

Qualified candidates will have CPR certification, a High School diploma or higher, and MD licensure as a Medication Technician. Strong communication, collaboration, multitasking, and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.

• Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable full engagement in treatment.
• Assist with nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication management, charting and reporting).
• Collaborate with extended medical and clinical teams for seamless coordination of care.
• Manage, order and restock all medical supplies as necessary.
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge.
• Assist with all pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations.
