Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to work part-time/per diem at the Carroll County Detention Center in Westminster, MD. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision and requires CNA certification and dual CMT/CNA credentials.

Weekend shifts are 3 pm to 11 pm. Training includes a two-week orientation with on-the-job shadowing and exposure to medication passes and records management.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved CMT program.
• Dually certified as a CMT/CNA is required.

Responsibilities

• Initial intake screening on new receptions.
• Taking vital signs and completing intake forms.
• Preparing and maintaining examination and treatment areas for the facility.
• Performing daily medication passes.
• Maintaining medication records.
• Typing of various reports, letters, and memoranda.
• Answering the telephone and processing calls.
• Maintaining filing system and confidentiality of information at all times.
• Following universal precautions at all times.
• Maintaining a pleasant working attitude.
• Any/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegated.
