Avenues Recovery Center invites motivated Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our Eastern Shore facility in Maryland. Positions cover evening and overnight shifts, supporting stabilization and transition planning for clients in residential rehab programs.

Ideal candidates hold CPR certification, a high school diploma or GED, and MD licensure to serve as a Medication Technician. Collaborative teamwork and strong communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable engagement in treatment.
• Assist with nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication management, charting and reporting).
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams for coordinated care.
• Manage, order and restock medical supplies as necessary.
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge.
• Assist with pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations.
