Job summary

Brentwood Hospital in Monroe, LA is seeking a dynamic Counselor / Social Worker to join our team dedicated to improving mental health. This outpatient role supports IOP/PHP, conducts psychosocial assessments, provides group and family therapies, and develops discharge plans.

Part-time hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, with in-person and virtual options. The ideal candidate holds an LPC or LCSW license, a Master’s degree in social work or counseling, and experience in inpatient or outpatient

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
• LPC or LCSW licensure required.
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments for in-person and virtual visits.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments to identify treatment focus.
• Provides group and family therapies using multiple modalities.
• Documents daily progress notes and tracks progress toward goals.
• Develops individualized discharge plans and coordinates aftercare resources.
