Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health or Social Sciences required.
• Active substance use or mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered required.
• Maintain applicable state licensure requirements for duration of employment.
• 1+ year of relevant field experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families.
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge.
• Consult with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care.
• Provide orientation and education to clients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process.
• Develop written treatment plans with client and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning.
• Monitor clients to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions.
• Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, summaries, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times.
• Oversee quality assurance and compliance activities of the facility.
