Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field required; MSW preferred.
• Must have licensure with the State of Michigan: Licensed Master Social Worker preferred, Licensed Professional Counselor or Psychologist, Limited Licensed Masters Social Worker, Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, or Masters Limited Psychologist considered.
• 3 years of professional experience
• Must be available for evening clinic hours and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Providing outpatient clinical services including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge/aftercare planning.
• Providing individual, group, or family counseling based on client needs.
• Preparing/submitting reports and coordinating with state, agency, and CARF requirements.
• Obtaining/monitoring funding authorizations from state and insurance companies.
• Engaging and retaining clients and maintaining relationships with referral sources.
