Job summary

Clinton Counseling Center, a program of Comprehensive Youth Services, Inc., is seeking a Contractual Clinical Therapist for its Mount Clemens, MI outpatient clinic. You will provide quality care for substance use and mental health clients, with hours you set as a contractual therapist.

Responsibilities include intake, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, and discharge planning. Licensure requirements include LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC and CAADC or equivalent plan, with a valid state

Qualifications

• LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC required.
• CAADC certification or development plan required or willingness to pursue.
• Clinical degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state-issued clinical license and clean record.

Job description

Clinton Counseling Center is a program of Comprehensive Youth Services, Inc. As a Contractual Clinical Therapist at Clinton Counseling Center, you will be responsible for providing quality care for substance use and mental health clients in a small non-profit outpatient clinic located in Mount Clemens, MI. As a contractual therapist, you will decide your hours. Hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 8-9, Fri 8-4, and Sat 9-1

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health clients.
• Complete Intake assessments, treatment planning, and providing group and individual therapy to assigned clients.
• Discharge planning and thorough clinical documentation.
• Advocating for clients needing higher or different levels of care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must possess an LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC.
• Must possess a CAADC or be willing to submit a MCBAP development plan.
• Completion of a clinical degree at an accredited university.
• Valid, state-issued clinical license.
• Clear criminal record.
• Refined interpersonal and diagnostic techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Those with lived experiences are encouraged to apply.
