Job summary

Corewell Health in Van Buren Township is seeking a full-time Order Selector for 2nd shift from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This temporary role through Winter 2027 involves selecting, packing and preparing orders for shipping, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will read orders, locate items, apply shrink wrap, label shipments and keep the warehouse clean and safe, collaborating with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of three months of warehouse/store room experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders carefully to understand specifications.
• Locate and select specific warehouse items based on order requirements.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to stack items and prepare orders for shipping.
• Ensure accuracy in order selection and packaging.
• Label order shipments accurately for easy identification.
• Apply shrink wrap to prepared orders before shipping.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
