Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking a Senior Surgical Technician for the Operating Room. This full-time evening shift works 12 hours per day, supporting scrub roles and OR readiness.

The role requires certification and at least 5 years of scrub experience, plus BLS. You’ll work with a collaborative nursing team in a magnet-recognized hospital known for patient-centered care, outcomes, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 5 years of scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of technical duties to scrub in surgery.
• Prepares operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques.
• Provides technical services and assists in operating room as assigned and directed; serves as a resource with the RN Specialty Coordinator for at least one surgical specialty.
