Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Certified Surgical Tech 2 to join the Main Operating Room team. You will maintain sterile technique, assist in invasive and noninvasive procedures, and support anesthesia and nursing staff in a busy OR.

Requirements include CST, TS-C or equivalent, LPN pathway allowed, and at least 1 year of surgical experience across multiple specialties; 8-hour evening shifts and 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• One year of surgical experience.
• Demonstrates competence in at least three surgical specialties.
• Licensure as an LPN or CST/TS-C pathways acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Ensure all surgical equipment functions properly.
• Assist in both invasive and noninvasive procedures to prioritize patient safety.
