Qualifications

• Technical program in Surgical Technology.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification or progress toward CST within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room; ensure sterile equipment is ready.
• Gather necessary supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supporting the surgeon.
• Anticipate team needs to maintain smooth workflow during procedures.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of the operating room and instruments.
• Assist in safe patient transfer to recovery after surgery.
• Maintain accurate instrument and supply records; report discrepancies.
• Participate in inventory management of surgical supplies and instruments.
