Tampa General Hospital-Hernando in Spring Hill is seeking a Surgical Tech 1 to support the operating room and endoscopy teams. Under supervision, you will assist with procedures, prepare sterile instruments, and help maintain the surgical suite.

The role requires completion of a Surgical Technology program and BLS certification; candidates with CST certification or six months of related experience may be preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology program is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire or soon after.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparing and maintaining the operating room and sterile instruments.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon and support the team during procedures.
• Ensure infection control and instrument accountability throughout cases.
