Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in surgical scheduling, hospital administrative support, or medical office coordination.
• Experience with Epic OpTime and scheduling modules.

Responsibilities

• Book and maintain surgical cases using Epic OpTime or other Epic scheduling modules.
• Collaborate with surgeons’ offices to verify case details, CPT codes, times, and documentation.
• Ensure all case requests and special needs are arranged and verified in advance.
• Coordinate vendor attendance, loaner trays, implants, and equipment with lead times.
• Document schedule details in Epic and related tracking systems.
• Participate in daily OR scheduling huddles to ensure case readiness.
• Provide administrative support to OR leadership and nursing teams.
