Job summary

Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights is seeking a Registered Nurse - OR for full-time, 3p to 11:30p with call, weekend and holiday schedules. The role delivers perioperative nursing using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and current CPR certification. ASN-hirees must obtain BSN within three years.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• ASN hires must obtain BSN from an accredited program within three years of start date.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
• Revises plans of care as indicated and adheres to physician orders and hospital policies.
