Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Coordinator to join our Surgical Services team in Saint Paul, MN. You will coordinate perioperative care, liaise with OR, pre- and post-operative staff, and use Epic to update patient charts and schedules.

The primary shift is 2:30–10:30 p.m., with occasional day shifts, weekends, and rotating holidays based on seniority. This 0.8 FTE non-union position includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of computer/data entry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical or surgical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate perioperative care with surgical staff.
• Communicate with patients and families.
• Enter patient charts and case logs in Epic.
• Dispatch interpreter services and coordinate staff scheduling.
• Maintain the current and next day surgery schedule.
