Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Coordinator to join our Surgical Services team in Saint Paul, MN. You will coordinate perioperative care, liaise with nursing staff and physicians, and ensure smooth patient flow using Epic.

The role requires strong data entry skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage schedules, housekeeping dispatch, and interpreter services. Evening shifts 2:30–10:30 p.m., with weekends and holidays dependent on seniority.

Qualifications

• Three years of computer/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate perioperative care of surgical patients in collaboration with the Operating Room, Pre-operative, and Post-operative teams.
• Communicate with patients and families to address questions and updates.
• Enter information for patient charts, surgical case logs, scheduling, equipment/supplies, and patient location using Epic.
• Dispatch housekeeping and patient transport and coordinate interpreter services as needed.
