Job summary

Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role offers exposure to diverse cases across 21 ORs, including a hybrid OR and two daVinci Xi robots.

You will support a busy OR performing perioperative nursing care for all ages and help optimize procedures. The position requires MN RN licensure, BLS, and perioperative nursing experience or rotation, with shift coverage including days and evenings; occasional overnight, call shifts, and every 8th weekend.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a perioperative focus or rotation experience.
• Minnesota RN license or eligible to practice in MN.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing care for patients across age groups in the OR.
• Implements nursing activities for operating room services and policies.
• Assists in procedures and supports cost-efficient OR operations.
• Suggests process improvements for workflow and resource use.
• Ensures adherence to OR nursing policies and safety standards.
• Promotes patient satisfaction with surgery and nursing care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
