Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in the United States seeks a skilled Ultrasonographer to perform routine ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision, producing high-quality images and presenting results for interpretation.

You will prepare patients, verify orders, and adhere to safety and infection control standards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role includes on-call responsibilities and a commitment to care.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited ultrasound program, or MWHC/MIF cross-training, or 12 months of relevant experience.
• AHA BLS Provider certification required.
• ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN or VT) or ARRT (S) required at time of hire.
• If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry within 12 months with first OB/GYN attempt within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for ultrasound exams by confirming orders and reviewing histories.
• Performs ultrasound examinations across patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Maintains infection control standards and safe environment.
• Documents patient data and supports billing processes.
