Job summary

Premise Health in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health to care for client employees at our Health Center.

You will conduct medical tests, screenings, treat injuries, coordinate return-to-work programs, manage occupational health protocols, and educate patients on health promotion. The role requires current RN license, BLS, and 3+ years in occupational health; BSN preferred. Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; anticipated start Feb 2, 2027.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (state of practice).
• At least three years in an occupational health clinic, ER, or ambulatory care.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on scope.
• COHN/COHN-S certification preferred where applicable; may be required by site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for clinical operations and manage required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate return-to-work with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and educate on health promotion.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and company departments on health programs.
• Assist with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives.
