Job summary

Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor. RN or LPN license required to supervise nursing staff on short-term and long-term care units. Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM, with options to adjust.

Located at 292 Washington St, Gloucester, MA, within reach of Salem/Peabody area. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/holidays, and shift differentials. Weekend on-call rotation; CPR and nursing license required.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN state license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in healthcare; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills recommended.

Responsibilities

• Welcome admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes and on-call rotation.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care

• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills

• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

• Weekend on-call rotation - generally once every 5 weeks

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges

• Supervise nurses and CNAs

• Manage staffing changes

• Support family inquiries and screen visitors

• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions

• Ensure high quality resident/patient care

• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
