Job summary

Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center in Gloucester, MA is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor. RN or LPN license and CPR certification are required, with a nursing degree from an accredited college.

The candidate will supervise our nursing staff on short-term and long-term care units, with weekend on-call rotation and a focus on delivering exceptional resident care. Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN state license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills required.
• Rehabilitative and restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Weekend on-call rotation roughly every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
• Weekend on-call rotation - generally once every 5 weeks
