Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant may perform duties in outpatient, inpatient, home, or community living care and will care for patients with acute to chronic conditions.
• Documents care, observations, and responses on appropriate forms.
• Responds to subtle patient changes by contacting nursing staff and performs basic life support as needed.
• Assists with ROM, transfer, ambulation, and use of mobility devices under RN/LPN direction.
