Job summary

Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini is seeking an Evening RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on the evening shift. This full-time role supports safe, high-quality resident care and ensures regulatory compliance with strong clinical leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an active Rhode Island RN license with a valid BLS/CPR certification and has at least 2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting. Training is provided; no prior supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Full-time, days Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00PM

Range: $99,840.00 - $109,200.00 annually

Responsibilities for Evening RN Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for Evening RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
