Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Hagerstown, MD. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2nd shift 3:00p–11:00p. Comprehensive benefits and wellness programs are offered.

Responsibilities include exams, procedures, care planning, patient education, diagnostics, and collaboration with physicians. Nationwide benefits and ongoing professional development supported.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing or equivalent nursing credential with evidence of nursing practice.
• Maintains RN and NP licenses to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority and applicable DEA license.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• BLS/ACLS as required by contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
