Medstaff Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide in-office virtual urgent care from our Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn, NY office. This full-time role includes evaluating acute conditions via virtual visits with a Sunday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

schedule and a compensation range of $90-$105 per hour. You will collaborate with physicians, document encounters in the EMR, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining a consistent evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Active Medicaid ID number required.
• Urgent care, primary care, family medicine, or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
• Comfortable providing virtual care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual urgent care consultations from the office
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and follow-up care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to support continuity of care
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality and patient experience
