Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a mid-level System Administrator for evening/night shifts to provide infrastructure support and trouble resolution on shipboard IT networks. Ability to work in-office daily; not remote.

Responsibilities include remote coordination with the help desk and remote administration teams, data gathering for data calls, and daily reporting. Requires Security+ or higher and IAT Level II certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mid-level system administration and infrastructure support.
• Ability to respond to trouble calls and perform break-fix troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting and break/fix activities on shipboard IT networks via satellite connections.
• Coordinate with the StratasCorp Help Desk, Remote Administration, and shipboard crew to align with contract priorities.
• Gather data for data calls and provide daily work reports.
