Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month radiologic technology program accredited by JRCERT.
• Minimum of 2 years in an accredited educational program.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist in Indiana.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography; current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Operate radiographic equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Review requests for radiographic procedures and obtain patient history.
• Perform radiographic procedures per provider orders.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and clear explanations of procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and families.
• Document procedures accurately and follow radiation safety policies.
• Monitor radiation exposure and use protective devices.
• Assist in QA and quality improvement activities.
• Instruct radiography students during clinical experiences.
