Job summary

Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, Unit 5 North PSYCH in Anniston, AL, is seeking a Nursing Support to join the full-time evenings/night shift from 7p to 7a. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will perform basic patient care procedures for patients who are cognitively impaired, in crisis, or emotionally regressed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, one year of psychiatric patient care, and BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of psychiatric patient care.
• Prefer degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent.
• Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, performs basic patient care procedures related to patients who are cognitively impaired, ineffectively coping, emotionally regressed, and/or involved in situational/maturational crisis.
